We decided June of 2021 to try something a little scary…..Zip Lining the Palo Duro Canyon. Chloe had never gone Zip-Lining before, and while she was nervous about it, she was ready to give it a go. Impulse scheduling helps a lot with this…I had the idea and scheduled it the night before so she didn’t have too much time to psyche out of it. I took pictures along the way, and I really enjoyed watching her go from fear to absolute enjoyment!
Here are the before pictures….See the fear??????? She’s excited, sure…but she became more and more nervous as we got closer…..
She was a trooper! She overcame her nervousness, and went for it!! She even got a little stuck coming into the other platform, and patiently and gracefully waited till they were able to pull her up. The guys who ran the adventure were awesome and made our experience amazing!
The moment we both got to the other side, she was HOOKED! She wanted to go again immediately. We both loved it, bought a t-shirt, and wanted to come back as soon as we could!
